These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Chaotic Events Ltd ("Curated Chaos", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered contact address is Canopy, 41 King Street, Leicester, LE1 6RN and our data contact is data@curated-chaos.co.uk.
The Curated Chaos platform is a vetted creator network. Brands subscribe to access a curated roster of content creators. Creators join for free and are matched to paid briefs from brand subscribers.
By creating an account, subscribing, applying as a creator, or otherwise using our services you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, provide false information, or that we reasonably suspect are being misused.
Creator applications are reviewed by our team and admission is at our discretion. Only vetted creators appear in the brand roster.
Brand membership is a recurring monthly subscription of £99 (excluding VAT unless stated) charged via Stripe. It grants access to the vetted roster, AI-assisted matching, secure contracts, payment protection and creator replacement.
You may cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future billing; you retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by UK consumer law.
If a payment fails your account will be marked past due and Stripe will retry the payment automatically. If payment cannot be recovered, access will be suspended.
Additional packages (Intro / Corporate) may be purchased per campaign as a one-off charge. Package funds are held in escrow when a campaign begins and released to the creator once you approve final delivery, or refunded in line with the replacement policy below.
Creators are free to join and are not charged any fees or commissions. Creator earnings from a completed campaign are paid out from escrow after brand approval.
Curated Chaos may retain a service margin on package payments to cover platform operations. The exact split is disclosed to the creator at the point of match acceptance.
When you post a brief, our matching engine generates a ranked shortlist and our strategist selects a final creator. The creator delivers to the agreed brief. You may request revisions, request a creator replacement, or approve final delivery from the placement view.
If a creator does not meet the brief we will attempt one replacement at no extra charge. Further replacements may incur an admin fee at our discretion.
Creators retain copyright in their work. On brand approval and payment release, the brand receives the commercial usage rights recorded on the placement (paid social, organic social, paid ads, etc.). Anything outside those rights requires separate written permission.
You are responsible for ensuring the content you post using the platform complies with applicable advertising standards (including CAP/ASA rules in the UK).
Do not upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing material; do not attempt to compromise the platform; do not scrape the roster; do not use the service to compete with us. We may remove any content and terminate accounts that breach this section.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the platform, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is capped at the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
Either party may terminate the contract at any time. On termination we may delete data associated with your account after a reasonable period (see the Privacy Policy for retention timelines).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-product notice. Continued use after the update means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
